So to I had the pleasure of being treated like the vehicle trailing in the zipper rule when there was a clear give way marked on the road. The details of this rule can be found on page 23 of the Road Rules Booklet
I’ve never liked this rule, as I believe that it encourages reckless driving practice by allowing forceful give way by whoever is mostly in front of the other vehicle. The vehicle in question was towing a caravan and ignored the road markings to give way when merging. So guess who had to break to avoid the caravan from replacing the front of my car!
What is Joe Hockey Smoking? One has to wonder what goes through the mind of Joe Hockey to make such an insulting comment on the people of Australia…
Hockey accused of arrogance for saying poor people ‘don’t have cars’
So it’s been a while since I last wrote about the NBN. But this news report has finally got under my skin…
I’ve been connected to the NBN since September 2013, in that time the only downtime has been due to the router occasionally locking up. If I was to compare this to the ADSL2+ connection I had previously then I’m well ahead in uptime days. I’m just sick and tired of reading that the problem was due to the previous government. I thought that the *Adults” were in charge? Isn’t this what Tony Abbott claimed on election night!
So far these “Adults” have just been passing the buck and by default it’s Labors fault. 😐
