Are you after a simple backup tool for your Linux system? Have you heard about Back In Time? OK if you have not, well just what is this? this program allows you to configure backups on your Linux PC that uses rsync for the main transport. This has several advantages than just simply compressing what you want to backup and say burning it to CD/DVD.
The first time you run this program it will ask you a series of questions about what you want to backup and where… then you can set it to backup every few minutes to an hour or daily, monthly whatever suits for the data that you’ll be backing up. To find out more about this program you can visit…
If you are a user of Debian/Ubuntu or Fedora there are repositories you can add to keep the version current… How easy! 🙂
