There has bee a lot of talk about the release of Ubuntu One. Some of this talk has focused on how the name of Ubuntu has bee miss used, abused. Well lets just remember that Canonical Ltd. owns the name Ubuntu and they can do with this name what they so like providing is not breaking any laws! Now this is where some people have had the problem to distinguish commercial entity v’s FOSS.
The other key point that people have neglected to realise to is that “you” as the individual, have a choice. You either decide to participate or not that’s “your” decision not anyone else’s! so IMHO there is not an issue for the uproar relating to the bug filed on Launchpad… https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntuone-servers/+bug/375345
